Posture and Perception

Sooooo....Posture and perception, I want to talk about these to words as it pertains to how we see and how we act while going through the tough times that we face in life. If you have read any of my earlier posts you know that I am in a renewing, restoring, and rebuilding season in my life. PERCEPTION, you see how I didn't say I am suffering, I am going through, I am a victim of lying evil people, I am a victim of MY OWN CHOICES! I don't look at this season as HARD TIMES, but a chance to get closer to God, and chance to build and strengthen my faith in Christ! A chance to solidify my relationship with God, a chance to let Him rebuild my character, restore my reputation, and renew my mind! In this season, I have truly seen the power of God in my life, the favor He has given me and my children. I have reaped the benefits of being faithful, and putting ALL of my trust and hope in God, not taking things into my own hands, but in everything I have done to seek Gods wisdom and guidance. I would not be sitting here right now if I didn't TOTALLY SURRENDER to His will! I see this season as a chance to have a testimony, and to be a testimony! POSTURE...what should our posture be when our circumstances aren't what we think or need them to be, how should we handle ourselves,  how should we think, how should we REACT! I can firmly tell you from experience, GRATEFUL, TRUSTING IN THE LORD, OBEDIENT TO THE WORD OF GOD, REMAIN FAITHFUL, KEEP A PRAISE ON YOUR LIPS AND A SONG IN YOUR HEART, AND ABOVE ALL THOSE THINGS LOVING OTHERS! If these things are our foundation in the middle of our crisis, we can see clearly the work God is doing in us, and it will be evident what miracles He will perform in the midst. Our hope for the future will be strengthened along with our faith and relationship with God! Our joy and peace will be undeniable, and unexplainable! Remember,  ALL POWER BELONGS TO GOD, and when you believe that deep in your heart,  you know you can get through ANYTHING, and there is nothing ANYONE or anything can do to stop or destroy what God is doing for you, and what He will give to you!! I love you to life! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!

Reflection....and Declaration

Sooo......We are approaching the new year, 2020! The start of a new decade! These past 10 years have been filled with A LOT of ups and downs, heart ache, then healing, then more heart ache, and again more healing! One thing I do know is that I am responsible for most of it, and I wouldn't have my sanity, my health, my life even if it hadn't been for Gods grace and mercy! It is a cliche thing that people say, it rolls off of people's tongues with regularity "If it had not been for Jesus, where would I be!?" That saying means EVERYTHING to me concerning these past 10 years, because I LITERALLY wouldn't know where I would be without God! I wouldn't of made it this far, especially the last few months, I look back on October and half of November, and how I would of DEFINITELY been in jail, or worse! I didn't respond to things like the old me would have! The people who tried to bait me are VERY LUCKY for that, but I am most of all grateful!! I could have lost my children, my sanity, everything! God is bringing me and my children into 2020 with favor, blessings, health, prosperity, a new career, and a great support system! God has opened the doors that needed to be opened, and closed the ones that needed to be closed. What I can't and will not do is carry old ways, and what I've been through, into this next decade of my life! I am starting school, getting a degree in a career that I LOVE! God has given me the strength and courage to walk through the doors that He has opened! I know this for certain, and this is very important, I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT GOD! What I have learned the most at the end of this decade is to PUT GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO, AND HE WILL LEAD AND GUIDE YOU!! I'm not saying I regret not doing it sooner, because I have gone through all of these things for a reason! I am walking into 2020 with the victory, leaving behind the mess and heartache, leaving behind (but still forgiving and loving) those people who tried to break me in the end, those who tried and went along with the plot to take my children and throw me on the streets. God will take care of them, my focus is on the glory God has for me! Gods word is the truth, and He does not tell lies! NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME PROSPERED, GOD DIDN'T LEAVE ME OR FORSAKE ME, HE HAS BEEN JEHOVAH JIRAH (my provider), HE HAS BEEN MY PRINCE OF PEACE, HE IS THE CENTER OF MY JOY, HE IS A DELIVERER, GOD IS MIGHTY IN BATTLE, HE IS A WAY MAKER, HE HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, HE HAS BEEN MY VINDICATOR, MY LAWYER, MY PRINCE OF PEACE, MY ALL!!! NOTHING can or has separated me from His love!!! I pray that everyone who reads this, if you haven't given your life over to God, IT IS THE BEST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE FOR YOUR LIFE! I'm not saying you won't ever face challenges, but while your going through God will give you favor, joy, and peace that surpasses all understanding!! God is faithful!!! Walk into 2020 a new creature, walk into 2020 with the VICTORY! There is NOTHING anyone can do about what God can and will do for you! I love you all to life, GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

Soooo.....It's  been a while! I am sooo excited to be back...sharing what God gives me every morning! From the last time I posted up to and through this day the number one lesson God is trying to teach me is PATIENCE!!! PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!! I have just finished a bible lesson called "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry!" You see...God has done some AMAZING things in my life since November 13th (The day the enemy tried to break me, AND LOST!! LOL!!!!). Everything that was done and said by others to try and break me down...and take my children was vanquished!!.....God moved very fast, He opened up every door that I needed to walk through, and I was able to get an apartment within 2 days!! .....but then, I felt like I STALLED!! I have an opportunity to go back to school and have it paid for, an opportunity for an internship, but all of these things and other things that I have prayed for seem to take A THOUSAND STEPS!! In order for me to appreciate what is coming next in my life, I have to be willing to go through the process! EVERYTHING WITH GOD IS A PROCESS! It is His way to teach us to be grateful, to take our time, to not make hasty impulsive decisions! It is His way to ensure that we consult Him in all of our moves, because the last thing we should want is to be out of the will of God! God doesn't work on our timeline! The human condition now a days is GET IT NOW...AND GET IT INSTANTLY! Hurry and joy don't  mix....Hurry and peace don't mix......if your hurrying your stressed, disappointment is always around the corner waiting to pounce on you! Take your time! Trust the process, trust Gods process! God has been faithful...and consistent in all of our lives one way or another, even if we haven't noticed or refuse to acknowledge! Let go, allow God to lead....take the time! The one thing that stood out in that bible lesson was this quote, "Hurrying is of the devil, and taking your time is of God!" That's how the author summed it up! PERIOD..AND STRAIT TO THE POINT! I LOVE YOU TO LIFE!!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!!!

WHAT WAS MEANT FOR EVIL

Soooo.....If you have read my earlier posts you know that I was living with a step mother, who I wronged by drinking her alcohol all summer, she found out around Sept. 8th, I gave my life back to Christ on the 10th because I was tired of conpletely destroying my life because of bad decisions, she gave me until October 1st to move out. I was granted a stay of execution, but I think a few weeks later she found the link to this blog. She read the first entry where I basically released everything I had done in the past. She read it, tried to use it against me by reporting lies to DCF, threw my past in my face on several occasions verbally (she doesn't know the redeeming power of God). Tried to butter my children up, hoping to create separation (DIDN'T WORK), tried to bait me into reacting in anger and violence (DIDN'T WORK). When all of those darts she shot at me didn't work (ONLY BECAUSE OF THE RENEWING POWER OF GODS WORD, NOT OF MY OWN POWER) her last deed was to go to court AND LIE! I received an order to vacate the premises IMMEDIATELY, the order said that she was in IMMEDIATE danger of abuse...FROM ME! I can't say that I couldn't believe it, because I knew what kind of person I was dealing with. You see, what was meant for evil, GOD TURNED IT AROUND FOR MY GOOD! I left that day with whatever I could grab, called on my family, amd they came running. I was able to be placed in a family shelter. When we got here we were told that we could move into the apartment in back, no sharing with the other families! God has been preparing me for this since Sept 10th, whatever was meant to hurt me has only HELPED ME! The DCF worker is amazingly kind, I have great people behind me and my kids, my son will be starting basketball soon, God had everything lined up for us! From these humble beginnings spawn GREATNESS! Not only has God rebuilt me spiritually, now He is rebuilding me financially! Every step from Sept 10th untill now was in His plan. As long I continue to seek Gods face, read His word, and follow His lead, my future will be stable and prosperous! I prayed that we would be in an apartment before Thanksgiving, and here we are! It's not how I thought it would happen, but I trust God none the less!!! I am excited about the future. Remember, it's not how you start, but how you finish! IF YOU FAINT NOT, YOU SHALL RECEIVE A JUST REWARD! "GOD IS ABLE TO DO JUST WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO, HE WILL FULFILL EVERY PROMISE TO YOU, DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD BECAUSE HE WON'T GIVE UP ON YOU!! THE BEGINNING OF NEW THINGS

Soooo.....Today is testimony day. I haven't written anything since Wednesday, and it was an on time word. While I was thinking about the ways God has been good in my life, I thought about Abraham. The last post was called ABRAHAM FAITH! That is what I am working with right now. God has been preparing me for this test since I started this blog on September 10th. This is the real test, God is really stretching my faith! I don't know what will happen or when, and it may be hard at times, but I know in the end there is a blessing! God has shown me favor at every turn so far, and I don't anticipate Him leaving me now! I am VERY EXCITED and have great hope for the future! This is just the beginning, and when I'm settled I can go more into what is happening now in my life, one thing I do know is that I'm blessed, my kids are blessed! Those who tried to break me LOSS! Those who tried to use my old sins against me, LOSS! Those who lied and conspired against me, LOSS! Those who tried to get me to react in a violent and angry way, LOSS! Those who dragged my name through the mud, LOSS! Like I have said in other entries, NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINT ME SHALL PROSPER! I am more than a conqueror! When you give yout life to God, and SURRENDER IT ALL TO HIM, and you seek a relationship with Him through praying and reading his word, God vindicates you! No matter what anyone tries, your past sins cannot be used against you, because of the person you become! The light of God will shine through, the change will be UNDENIABLE! Just keep in prayer continuously, renew your mind with the word of God, and learn ti view things with Gods lens. Forgive those who try to hurt you. Above all.....LOVE OTHERS AS YOU LOVE GOD AND YOURSELF! LOVE LOVE LOVE....AND FORGIVENESS! Extend the same grace God gives us when we come to Him for forgiveness for our sins! I forgive and love that person who tried to break me, who tried to rip me away from my children, I forgive that person who LIED, (to the courts of all places), I am happy and hopeful for the future! I am prepared to work hard, no matter what comes my way! Stay strong in the face of your enemies, be encouraged, seek God! GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH EVERY TRIAL AND GIVE YOUR FAVOR ON YOUR JOURNEY! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!

ABRAHAM FAITH

Sooooo........this morning, like every morning, God gave me a word of encouragement! He reminded me that His promises are true. You see, sometimes in the midst of a trial, doubt and fear might try to well up in your spirit! If you give it to God, and seek comfort in His word, you will get renewed strength and courage! It can be hard at times when your faith is being tested, when you don't know what is going to happen, blind faith can ne scary at times. I am reminded about the story of Abraham, and how God told him to sacrifice his son! NOW THAT KIND OF TEST IS MORE THAN I COULD EVER HANDLE!! Abraham trusted God SO MUCH that he gathered the wood, and took his son, and started up the mountain to the alter! I WOULD OF DIED FROM GRIEF WELL BEFORE THAT!! TRUST ME!! BUT ABRAHAM'S LEVEL OF FAITH WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! JUST AS ABRAHAM WAS ABOUT TO KILL HIS OWN SON, God told Abraham to look in the bush, and there was a ram worthy for the sacrifice!! AT THE LAST MOMENT, JUST BEFORE HE THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE TO SACRIFICE HIS OWN SON, BOOM, GOD CAME THROUGH!!! That is the kind of blind faith I want to have, that is the kind of faith that will get us through the TOUGHEST of times!! God reminded me of His FAITHFULNESS this morning! He reminded me that He is an ON TIME GOD! This word gave me strength this morning, it renewed my hope and strengthened my faith! THAT IS WHAT A TRIAL DOES!! God wants to stretch our faith!! HOW WOULD WE BE GRATEFUL FOR THE BLESSED OUTCOME OF WE DIDN'T HAVE FAITH!! God is good ALL THE TIME! No matter how hard it looks, no matter how impossible things may seem, GOD HAS ALREADY SET THE RAM IN THE BUSH FOR YOU!!! He has already set up the rescue, He has already worked the miracle!! BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH!! TRUST IN GOD AND HIS WORD!! REMEMBER GOD IS UNDEFEATED, HE HASN'T LOST A BATTLE YET!!!.I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

MEDITATE ON GOD

Sooo....a few weeks ago I asked God to teach me how to meditate. Meditation can  have a bad rep, especially when it comes to how other religions go about it compared to how we as Christians should. It is not the same AT ALL! I didn't want to get the two confused in any way! I wanted clarity, I asked God to guide me in that area, to give me the knowledge on how to go about my meditation life with Him! I can tell you that it doesn't involve incense or candle burning, it doesn't involve crossing of the legs or any kind of deep breathing. Meditating on God doesn't involve any type of ritualistic behavior AT ALL! As a matter of fact, God wants us to stay away from those types of pagan rituals! Meditating on God simply means to sit in and recognize His presence in your life! It means to sit still and think about what He has done, and how He has kept you! Meditating on God means to realize what kind of force He has been throughout your years! To think over how God has rescued you out of all the bad situations that WE GET INTO OURSELVES! We are to think back on all things He as done, and invoke the spirit of gratefulness! We are to sit and quietly think on the goodness of Jesus! To thank Him for His unfailing love! We as Christians should take time out to sit and be still, to think about how faithful God has been in our lives, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEEP IN SIN! Think about the times when His miracle working power was evident, and praise Him for it! Those old thoughts shouldn't bring up old feelings of pain and hurt, or shame and guilt! Think about how in spite of what was going on, in spite of how you were living, in spite of what you have done or said, GOD HAS BEEN CONSISTENT IN  LOVING AND CARING FOR US! God has never left us, God was always there, waiting on us to realize our ways, waiting to grant us salvation! We should meditate and think about how He never stopped pursuing us! We should meditated on how God never gave up on us, how He never threw us away! That is how we should meditate! It will strengthen us, grow our faith, make us grateful for everything He has done! It will make us thankful for the bad times, for the lessons we had to learn the hard way, for the bad decisions we have made that led us to this point in Christ! It will make us grateful for the work He has done in us, for the new spirit that He has renewed in us! When you give your life to God, and takes away your sins, your hurt, pain, guilt, shame, anger, hate and anything else that is not like Him. He replaces all those things with the Holy Spirit. The will and determination to not only live right on the outside, but to be brand new on the inside! God will replace your heart of stone with a heart of flesh! The holy spirit inside of you will help you not to make the same decisions that have previously ruined you, you will not have the desire for sin, but the desire to follow Jesus and His word! We have to feed the spirit with reading the word of God, or it WILL DIE, and you will end up right back to where you started! We have to allow God to renew our minds, so that we can have a new way of thinking! This will help us process the things of this world with a heavenly outlook, to not rely on what we see or feel! We have to be very careful to not let our emotions separate us from our salvation! Our emotions cannot be trusted, they will mislead you! Only, seek God, allow the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts, so that you can see things clearly! Meditating makes us close and closer to God! It strengthens the relationship, it reinforces it with gratefulness and love! Take some time out of your day and think about the goodness of Jesus, and all He has done for you! Praise Him for what He has done, and for what He has yet to do in your life!! WHEN I THINK OF THE GOODNESS OF JESUS, AND ALL HE HAS DONE FOR ME, MY SOUL CRIES OUT HALLELUJAH! I THANK GOD FOR SAVING ME!! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVERY IMAGINE!

UNDERSTANDING THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

Sooo....this morning I finished a devotional called, SPEAKING GOD, and it touched on how we as Christians, and as people period, speak things flippantly. Meaning, we say GOD BLESS YOU when someone sneezes, but do we really know the true and powerful meaning behind that phrase. We often also speak the Lords name in vain! We have to be intentional in making sure that we know what we are saying, especially as Christians! I say this as a segway to what I really want to touch on today, and that is the AMAZING GRACE that we wake up to EVERYDAY! It is very important that we speak the word, yes, BUT TO UNDERSTAND it brings on a whole new appreciation for what Jesus has done for us! I want to take the crucifixion as an example. We learn in bible school and during bible study that Jesus was whipped, and beaten, and stabbed, so on and so forth, but do we completely understand exactly what all of that means! I started a new devotional today called UNLIMITED GRACE, and the first phrase really stuck out to me! It  said "Jesus was treated as we deserve, so that we might be treated as He deserves!' ISN'T THAT AMAZING! I have never heard it broken down like that! We know that He died for our sins, and how it happened, but when you hear it like that it really SETS IN! Why he did it, and what we gained from it! When we are sinners, we are spiritual lepers, in the bible days, the lepers where thrown outside of the city like TRASH! Jesus was treated like a filthy leper, so that we wouldn't have to! He was beaten, spit on, and mocked, all so we could have salvation and peace! They whipped Him, Jesus took that whipping so that we could be healed, BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED! His whipping covered our ailments, our diseases, our sickness! He took condemnation, INNOCENTLY, so that we may have freedom, the freedom that HE deserved, but gave to us instead!! Jesus to our pain and agony, and gave us His victory!! He took our wounds and gave us His healing, He took our death and gave us His life! He took the crown of thorns, and gave us a royal crown of glory! WHEW!! When it is broken down like that, it hits hard! This is a type of sacrifice that NO MAN ON THIS EARTH would ever give! THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE, that unlocked the UNLIMITED GRACE that God gives us on a daily basis!! How can we not serve a God like that!! All He asked us in return, if we break it all the way down, is for us to be the best we can for others! That is why He demands obedience! To love above all, and to follow His commandments! If we do this, He guarantees glory, and a healthy, peaceful, and prosperous life! AMAZING! There is nothing we can do to repay Him fully for the sacrifice, because even though He died for our sins (and that should have been enough), He still provides all of our needs, Jesus still gives and blesses on a daily basis! God give EVERYDAY, even though we don't deserve it, that is why the love of God is UNRIVALED! That kind of love can not be given by any human on this earth! God love is an AGAPE love, meaning love that surpasses all understanding! A LOVE THAT ONLY GOD IS ABLE TO GIVE!! Give your life to God, the UNDESERVED blessings and rewards are too numerous to count! In God there is no condemnation, because Jesus suffered that already! Come to God, give Him your shame and guilt! Give Him your sorrow and pain! Give Him your anger, hate, self loathing, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, give Him all of your sins! Then watch God replace it all with peace, love, wholeness, pure joy! He will restore you, make you into a new person, a new creature! Once you have given it all to Him, the old you is gone, and He will mold you and guide you to be the person you were born to be! If you seek Him EVERYDAY in the word of God, spend time with Him, learn His ways!! YOU WILL FEEL BETTER THAN YOU HAVE EVER FELT IN YOUR LIFE!! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!

POWER BELONGS TO GOD

Sooo......I can't even say that this morning was a hard one, because it wasn't! I took what was said to me, listened, and then went about my morning with peace! PEACE SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING! That is the kind of peace tjat can ONLY come from God! I wasn't angry, hurt, or in any kind of pain! When you have the word of God stored up in you, the rhings people say, do, and any circumstances you face will not break you! If you stand FIRM AND BELIEVE in the word of God, if you have TOTAL FAITH AND TRUST in God and His power, the attacks of the enemy will not penetrate you!! If you believe that God is the master of the universe, that He holds ALL POWER in His hands, when troubles arise, when you find yourself in a place that looks impossible to get out of, GOD WILL SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT!! There is nothing too hard for God, there is NO SITIATION that God can't turn around, there is NO problem He cannot solve! There is no such thing as the IMPOSSIBLE with God! GOD WORKS THE BEST WITH WHAT YOU THINK IS IMPOSSIBLE!! Being in the impossible is meant to strengthen us, to grow our faith, it is meant for God POWER to manifest in our lives! We cannot go off of what we see in the moment, we DEFINATELY SHOULD NOT lean on our own understanding, TRUST IN THE POWER OF GOD! Trust in His word, God is the ONLY one who has been PERFECTLY consistant in our lives! Think about all the other things He has done in our lives! How many times has He made a way out of no way, how many times has He turned what we thought was impossible into possible? How many times has He answered our earnest prayers? How many times has He provided what we needed? How many times has God come through AT THE NICK OF TIME!!?? .....right at that moment you thought it was the end, at that moment when you thought TIME IS UP!!! If you have a testimony, if you can answer any or all of these questions, ESPECIALLY IF HE CAME THROUGH WHEN WE WERE FEEP IN SIN, than we should know and stand CONFIDENT in what we know can and will be done!!! DO NOT LOSE FAITH, STAND FIRM, BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE, SEEK STRENGTH AND COURAGE IN HIM!!!! OH AND READ READ READ READ READ THE BIBLE! Remember thay God will NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, HIS WORD IS TRUE!! DON'T GIVE UP, DON'T FOCUS ON HOW IT LOOKS, FOCUS ON GLORY, FOCUS ON GOD!! I love you to life!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!

LOVE ENDURES ALL

Sooo.....I completed the "Love Like God" devotional this morning, and what stuck out to me was the phrase LOVE ENDURES ALL! Not only does God want us to love no matter what the circumstances are, we are to endure what ever is done to us whether it is negative or positive, we are to endure WITH LOVE! Now, I HAD TO PRAY HARD FOR THE STRENGTH TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT THIS MORNING!! I had to remind myself that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER! I had to IMMEDIATELY address any negative feelings I had and give it to God! We are human, and God knows that certain things that people TRY to do to us will make us angry, and He expects us to be angry. It's how we respond that counts!! He wants us to draw strength from Him, the strength to forgive, and the strength to LOVE through it all!! He wants us to endure WITH LOVE!! When people try to bait you by doing things, saying things, writing things, whatever it may be, God wants us to Forgive, Forget, and endure it all with love!!! Lead with love in all that we do! Do not respond with anger, do not give the wicked force the satisfaction, don't give it what it is looking for!! Let God deal with it, while you remain in love!! That was an on time word for me this morning! THAT'S FOR SURE! Another thing, never allow someone elses evil intentions to stop you from doing what God wants you to do! If one avenue is closed, find another! NO EXCUSES!! Don't allow yourself to be blocked, to be LOCKED OUT!! There is always a way, seek God!!

GIVE GOD YOUR BEST

Soooo.....Today I stared the book of Genesis, I have been watched a few sermons on this book and wanted to have a deeper understanding of it. More than just the creation, and Caine and Abel, more than just the Sunday school stories I learned as a child. As I was reading the part before Caine killed Abel, it described the different SACRIFICES that both men brought before God. Abel gave God his choice lamb, the fattest one, the best quality. It says that Caine just brought God the fruit of the land he farmed. Now the bible said that God respected the offering Abel brought Him, BUT NOT CAINES, and this made Caine mad, I think it definitely his feelings A lOT! I immediately asked God, WHY DIDN'T YOU LIKE WHAT CAINE BROUGHT YOU, that is why he was angry and jealous, YOU HURT HIS FEELINGS, just as I asked Him that, I spoke the truth, which is the word of God. What I know is that God will never do anything to cause us pain, or hurt us intentionally like that! God would never choose to like someone else over us, His love is equally given to all, all at the same time, God DOES NOT HAVE FAVORITES! So I said, maybe I should just keep reading and find the answer! I have a study bible, and at the bottom of each page it explains what certain verses mean, and that is where God gave me the answer! Abel brought God his BEST, he brought God what would COST HIM THE MOST, he brought God what was the most valuable! It says that Caine just brought God the fruit of his harvest, it doesn't say that Caine brought God the FINEST FRUIT from the tree, or the GREENEST HERB from the garden!.....and there in lies the difference, God respected what Abel brought because Abel brought Him his BEST! Caine kept the best for himself, and gave God whatever was left over, he gave God the fruit that had fallen to the ground, instead of what was fresh off the trees, he gave God those herbs that had already begun to be eaten by bugs (the ones with the little holes in them) instead of the fresh green leaves! That is what God wants from us, OUR BEST! He wants us to give Him the best quality of ourselves, not what we want to give Him, not halfway, not slack, but THE BEST! That is what God will honor, and that is what He will bless! God will not bless if we are only giving Him a little of ourselves, if we are doing good one day, then doing what we want all the other days! God expects the best that we can give Him, NOT PERFECT because He his the only one who is perfect, BUT THE BEST POSSIBLE! God loves us no matter what, but He cannot move in our lives if we are holding back, if we are just giving Him what WE think He deserves, and keeping for ourselves the desires of the flesh, what we want to hold on to, what we want to say, how we want to live, but run to Him when we find ourselves in trouble! If you are sincere, and repent, and totally surrender (that's quality), then He will respond with salvation. If we continue to live in sin, doing what we want, and running to God when trouble comes (slack, not the best quality of ourselves) God will not honor or respect that! Then we feel ANGRY WITH GOD like Caine did, we start to feel like God doesn't hear us! So we have to give God our best, because HE GIVES US HIS BEST AT ALL TIMES!! Lets LOVE one another, help one another, honor God by following his commandments, lets seek His face and pray daily, allow Him to lead and guide you (quality)! Lets not hold anything back, lets not give Him a little, and KEEP FOR OURSELVES (what Caine did)! Lets honor God with our best, so that He can give us HIS BEST! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE! 

"And  in process of time it came to pass, that Caine brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he brought also the FIRST-LINGS OF HIS FLOCK AND OF THE FAT THEREOF. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. But unto Caine and to his offering He had NOT respect. And Caine was very wroth (ANGRY) and his countenance fell (he was sad and it showed in his face and body language, visible expression of hurt feelings)" Genesis 4:3-5 GIVE GOD YOUR BEST!

Forgive and FORGET

Soooo.......Have you ever heard the saying, I can forgive, but I will NEVER forget! I am sure you have, matter of fact, I adopted this statement in the trial I am facing right now in my life! I thought all I had to do is forgive, I had it in my mind that you can just FORGIVE and God will be pleased, I thought all I had to do is love in return, and BOOM that's it!! I am heart to tell you, THAT IS NOT THE CASE, UNFORTUNATELY!! I say UNFORTUNATELY because the flesh wants desperately hold on to that information, to not let go! It seems like a hard concept, like the people who have done something to you gets a pass, forgetting makes it seem like you have to go around and treat the people like nothing happened at all!! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO!! That is LOVE! God said ABOVE ALL love one another right, well hear is what the bible says about what love really is, "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, IT KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS!!" AND THERE IS WAS, JUST SITTING THERE LOOKING AT ME! Now before I read this morning, I asked God to search my heart, and if there is ANYTHING that I am clinging on to, anything that is not like Him, anything that is contrary to His word, I asked Him reveal it!! AND THEN I READ THAT!! God WILL DO what you ask of Him!! I knew I had something lingering, I could feel it, and I didn't like it, I knew it was something that I needed to get rid of! Forgiving is all well and good, and pleasing to God, but He also wants us to FORGET, AND NOT KEEP ANY RECORD (MEMORY OR RESENTMENT) OR WRONGS AGAINST US! If your desire is to be more like God, if we ask the question, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO, before we handle or react to anything, than this is what He requires! You know why, BECAUSE THIS IS THE SAME GRACE HE EXTENDS TO US WHEN WE COME TO HIM STINKING SINNERS, AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS! In God there is no CONDEMNATION! When we come to Him with our filth, and lay it at His feet, when we cry out for forgiveness, when we surrender all, God not only forgives, BUT HE FORGETS!!! Micah 7:19 says "You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea." God forgives us, and then takes our sins and throws them into the depth of the sea, NEVER TO THINK ON THEM AGAIN!! If God can do that for us, if He can absolve us like that, EVERY TIME WE ASK, because I know I have had to beg and plead for His forgiveness on SEVERAL OCCASIONS in my life, than I am to do the same when I forgive others! God requires us to show the same mercy to other, because that is what love is! AND GOD IS LOVE! So forgive and FORGET, not forgetting is like HOLDING ON to the hurt, it will dictate how you act towards the person or persons later down the line, and the only thing that should dictate how you respond to people is the word of God!! Not forgetting is leaving a small amount of residue that is left over from RESENTMENT, it will lie dormant, but grow and grow into a bigger problem! Forgive yes, BUT ALSO FORGET!!! KEEP NO MEMORY OF IT, HIT THE RESET BUTTON!!! The strength to do that can ONLY COME FROM GOD!! Ask God for the strength to do it, He will give it to you! ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS ASK!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!

SEEK GOD

Soooo......this morning I read a bible plan titled "Seek God", which I was more than happy to start and finish because HANDS DOWN making that decision to SEEK GOD has been the best decision I have EVER MADE IN MY LIFE!! I don't want to think about where I would be right now if I hadn't made that decision, but to God be the glory for RIGHT NOW! The areas where I have GREATLY BENEFITED from seeking God is in the way I respond to situations, people, attacks, handling my emotions, and my way of thinking! That is just the start, I know God has MUCH MORE to teach me in the days, months and years to come! I never used to be a person who responded or reacted in a healthy way to situations concerning other people, or situations that I have found myself in! I would HALF WAY ask God to help me, but then when I thought He wasn't moving FAST ENOUGH for me, I would allow my feelings to take over, and react in MY WAY! ANGER, HATE, VENGEANCE, RESENTMENT, UNFORGIVENESS, NASTINESS, to rectify the way I was feeling, it came to a point where I didn't have to curse you out, or knock you out, you know how I felt as soon as I came into the room! My feelings were made known, I could engulf an entire room with the anger I was feeling, and the person who it was aimed at knew as well! I could tear a person down with just a few sentences or a look! That type of behavior is like a band-aid on a stab wound, it will help for JUST A LITTLE WHILE, but eventually cause you more pain and hurt in the long run! That kind of behavior did a lot of damage to my soul and heart, I was more negatively affected by it, more than the person I was attempting to hurt! Not seeking God for so long led me down paths I never wanted to go down, had me making decisions that were damaging, I was filled with ego, pride, dormant anger, fake joy, fake peace, fake happiness!! No matter how good things would go for a while, I would always find myself falling, over and over again!! The roller coaster ride from HELL!! It was only when I decided to TOTALLY SURRENDER and give my WHOLE LIFE over to God and seek His will that ever thing became clear! Seeking God in ever thing we do is VERY IMPORTANT! Who better to have as council, a God who knows EVERYTHING, who knows the plan, who has all the power in His hands! Now, sometimes His way may seem UNCOMFORTABLE, that's because we are so used to doing things CONTRARY, and our flesh rears it's UGLY HEAD! If it feels uncomfortable, that means he is GROWING YOU, you have to BREAK THROUGH, break out of the habit of doing things that will only satisfy you for a moment, and start doing things that will end up being beneficial right then, and for the future! It is Gods plan to make us better than we were before, that is a part of CHANGING! When you give your life to Christ, it says in the bible that we become NEW CREATURES! Key word is new, NOT LIKE BEFORE, NOT DOING THE SAME THINGS THE OLD PERSON DID...NEW! CHANGE, it is what we do, and to do that we have to be developed! When we seek God before we act, respond, change careers, move, date, speak, every aspect in our lives, He ALWAYS works everything out for our good! God will never lead us astray, He will never lead us into a situation that will hurt us! Seek God before a meeting, before you have a talk with your children, before you travel, anything and EVERYTHING, and you will see Him work in a mighty way! His glory will shine through, especially in the situations you see as impossible!!! REMEMBER, GOD WILL NEVER EVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU!!! Consult Him, and He will give you heavenly direction!!! You will be grateful that you didn't do things your way, AND MESS UP EVERYTHING!! You will learn to see things HIS way and not YOUR way!! WE ARE BETTER OFF THAT WAY!!! Accept His divine direction, TURN IT OVER TO GOD, whatever you are going through, and seek Him in ALL YOU DO!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!

THE WILL OF GOD (THE SAFEST PLACE)

Soooo....today after I prayed and before I read, I sat and thought where I would be RIGHT NOW if I was still doing things my own way, if I hadn't surrendered my life over to God, and if I was still taking matters into my own hands and living the way I wanted to live! I wasn't upset or afraid, BUT OVERWHELMINGLY GRATEFUL! I thanked God for changing me, for rebuilding me, for renewing my mind, for replacing my heart of stone with a heart of flesh! I thanked God for the desire that I have to seek His face everyday, I thanked Him for the great work He has done on the inside of me! I just shook my head, thinking about the mess I would of made of my life had I not followed the plan God has laid out for me, following His WILL and His way for how I am supposed to live! Then a familiar song popped into my head "The Will Of God". The very first line in that song is "THE SAFEST PLACE, IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, IS IN THE WILL OF GOD!", that is sooo incredibly true!! The will of God is good, acceptable, and perfect! Good, meaning anything you go through, everything you face, all the trials and attacks, or sickness and pain, God will work it out for our GOOD! No matter what it is, it will come to an end, and we will be better off, and fully restored. Acceptable, not only for God, but also for us! We are accepted and forgiven before God, and as we follow His guide (the bible, our instruction maual), we learn how to live in a way that is pleasing and acceptable to God. It also is fulfilling to us as well, because we feel the fullness of Gods joy, love, peace, and understanding! Doing the right things is pleasing, it makes you live a life free from worry, free from hiding and being ashamed, free from guilt and sorrow! God teaches us how to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable in His sight, He will never leave us or forsake us if we continue and strive to seek His face everyday! Now, perfect, I was a little intimidated by this part at first, because I have to repent for a thought, or a certain kind of feeling almost EVERYDAY! This doesn't mean God requires, nor does He expect us to be PERFECT! The only perfect one is GOD! So we can just stop stressing, God expectations aren't for us to be perfect! Gods will is PERFECT, in the sense of COMPLETION! I learned today during a devotional reading that the word perfect in this sense means to bring to maturity, to finish what is started, enabled to reach the goal, needing nothing for completeness! The work God has started in my life will come full circle, God doesn't do ANYTHING half way, He doesn't start something, and then abandon it half way through! God, if you allow Him to, will complete the great work He started within us! God is meticulous in His planning, everything He does is done for a reason, everything we go through happens for a reason, everything we face is for a reason! If we believe that Gods will is good , acceptable, and perfect, than we should have confidence and peace in the midst of hard times in our lives!! We should be void of worry, and strong in faith because we know and understand that this is a part of the will of God, we stand firm and believe in His word and promises! We trust and believe God, and NEVER lean on our own understanding, meaning never do what YOU WANT TO DO! Do things the way God wants you to do them, because you know that in the end, ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE GOD!! PERIOD!! It will get bumpy at times, BUT STAND FIRM, it will hurt sometimes, BUT STAND FIRM, it will seem impossible at time, BUT THROUGH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! God knows all and sees all, He knows and has a plan for us that, He has a purpose for our lives! God knows everything from BEGINNING to END! How could we not follow a God like that! Knowing we have the victory, know that He will never leave us or forsake us, know that we are more than conquerors, know that He will never put more on us than we can bear, knowing that He fights all of our battles, knowing that He is the source of our strength, joy and peace, knowing that He works everything out FOR OUR GOOD, knowing that He will never let us fall if we trust and seek Him, knowing that He is ALPHA and OMEGA, knowing that He sees all and plans all, and that HE is in CONTROL OF EVERYTHING!! No matter what it may look like, just know that if you are walking in the will of God, He will see you through, and the reward will be more than you can ever imagine to ask for!! God promises that!!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!

YOUR RESPONSE DETERMINES THE OUTCOME

Soooo.......How should we respond when we find ourselves in a trial, test, or storm. The answer to this question is VERY IMPORTANT, because it determines the OUTCOME! When you are a Christian, your response is supposed to be different from how you would of responded before salvation. I find myself in a battle THAT GOD IS FIGHTING for me right now, and I had a choice to make on Tuesday. God wanted to see if I was going to seek Him and pray, or do things MY way! I chose GODS WAY, because that is the ONLY way that guarantees VICTORY and HEALING! It is certainly a testing of my FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD, FOR REAL! I chose to read Gods word, pray and seek His guidance! I chose to be obedient to what God commands us to do in these types of situations! So, how do respond to those who seek to destroy you, those who try to break you down, those who try to get you to react in a certain way by baiting you, those who conspire behind your back, those who talk about you and drag your name in the dirt, those who wish evil on you........YOU RESPOND WITH LOVE!! THAT SOUNDS HARD, I KNOW, but if you ASK God to help you, ask Him to give you the strength, you will have no problem doing so! God is love, and if you have a relationship with God, if you have been seeking His face everyday through prayer and reading the bible, it will seem effortless! NOW, I'm not saying that the emotions that arise because of what your going through won't bring hateful thoughts and hurt feelings, because we are HUMAN, and emotions are a BIG part of how we are made. I'm saying, don't allow your emotions to MISLEAD YOU! Do not seek vengeance, because God said that belongs to Him! Don't respond with pride, because PRIDE COMES BEFORE THE FALL EVERY TIME, and DEFINITELY don't pay EVIL with EVIL! The ONLY thing that can overturn evil is LOVE! That is how God wants us to respond, PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DESPISE YOU, LOVE THE ONES WHO HATE YOU! That is how we unlock our blessings that are to come, respond with LOVE and the windows of heaven will open up for you, you will see the move of God in the situation! God is already working it out, God has already given us the VICTORY! NEVER FOCUS ON HOW IT LOOKS RIGHT NOW, ONLY FOCUS ON THE PROMISES GOD MADE TO YOU, FOCUS ON GLORY!!! Play encouraging music, pray pray pray, read the word of God, enhance your faith, pray for the ones who are TRYING to cause your downfall, AND WATCH GOD BREAK HEAVEN WIDE OPEN!!!! Remember, RESPOND WITH LOVE, don't call into the snares and the traps that your enemy tries to lay for you! GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH ALL THE WAY TO YOUR EXPECTED END!!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!!

STRENGTH AND REASSURANCE IN THE MIDST OF A STORM

Soo....yesterday, while watching a video by Christine Caine, I heard her say that the book of Psalms is a great book to read when your going through a tough time, it is a good book to read when you are under attack. SHE IS RIGHT! On Tuesday, before I got that gut wrenching call, Kellie Agueze was teaching out of the book of Psalms (Psalms 119 to be exact!). They were both ON POINT! I started to read the book of Psalms from the beginning this morning during my morning meditation, and got up to chapter 20! All throughout described VICTORY in the midst of a storm, VICTORY over sickness and pain......but CHAPTER 119 is what I read Tuesday after that call, and it is FULL encouraging verses! God assures us that we have the VICTORY, no matter what or who comes against you! God is our fortress and our refuge! He will make us stronger than we can ever thought we could be!! There are a few verses in Psalms 18 that describe how the Lord equips us for battle! Not a PHYSICAL battle, but spiritual. David describes with physical terms what God has equipped our spirits with! Verses 34-36 say "He teacheth my hands to war, so that the bow of steel is broken by my arms. Thou has given me a shield of Thy salvation; and Thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great!" So you see, God will make your spirit is not broken, He will reinforce you, give you strength, HOLD YOU UP, and set your feet on the right path! God meant it when He said, "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER!"...but you will be tried! No, God doesn't want us to suffer, or be hurt, but the bible says "Consider it all joy my brethren, WHEN you go through a trial knowing the testing of your faith produces endurance!" James 1:2-3, "But He knows the way to take; WHEN he has tried ME, I shall come forth as pure gold!" Job 23:16, "Blessed is a man who PERSEVERES under trial, for once he has been approved, he WILL receive the crown of life which the Lord has PROMISED to those who love Him!" James 1:12. In the first three verses the word when is emphasized, that's to show that we WILL go through something in life ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, IT IS INEVITABLE! But the last verse describes what happens when we endure, when we don't allow the attack to take us out like it was intended to do! If we stand firm on Gods word, put our faith into real action, and have hope and believe in the PROMISES God has made to us, we shall receive the crown of life! Now that doesn't mean we will be made king or queen of the world, or even have all the riches, it means that God will fulfill His promises. He will restore us, heal us, avenge us, whatever the trial is, whatever you are going through, if you seek God daily, trust and believe in what He says, FORGIVE AND SHOW MERCY (I know that can be a hard one, but God will give you the strength to do so), HE WILL REWARD, RESTORE, AND MAKE US SHINE IN THE END, OUR VICTORY IS GUARANTEED! There is NOTHING your enemies can do about it, there is nothing sickness can do about it, whatever or whoever it is that is bringing on the attack WILL LOSE! "GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE, NOR A SON OF MAN THAT HE SHOULD CHANGE HIS MIND. HAS HE EVER SPOKEN AND FAILED TO ACT? HAS HE EVER PROMISED AND NOT CARRIED IT THROUGH?" NUMBERS 23:19. That sums it up right there, God is NOT A MAN so he does't lie, so trust what he says WITH ALL YOUR HEART. God is not a man so HE DOESN'T CHANGE HIS MIND, meaning He will not go back on His promises! HAS HE EVER SPOKEN AND FAILED TO ACT?, has He ever been there for you, has He in the past rescued you, even when we were in sin, hasn't He ALWAYS kept His word before!? HAS HE EVER PROMISED AND NOT CARRIED IT THROUGH?, has there ever been a time when you recognize that God has fulfilled a promise to you, have you EVER experienced what you thought was a MIRACLE!? Have you ever said out loud "I DON'T KNOW HOW I GOT OUT OF THIS, or, I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED, or, I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM!" These are our testimonies on how God has showed up in the past, EVEN WHEN WE WERE SINNERS AND NOT SEEKING HIM! So, if God kept me, saved me, restored me, even in my filth, I KNOW HE WILL DO, AND MORE ABUNDANTLY this time!! It will be SWEETER and MORE SATISFYING this time, and GOD WILL GET THE GLORY AND PRAISE!!......not me.....we have to be mindful and not allow PRIDE to rise up in us, we are not to be COCKY and HAUGHTY! ....and God doesn't want us to RUB IT IN when we have WON!! It will be an opportunity for HIS light to shine, and a testimony that will help OTHERS! So, be strong in the midst of your storm and trials, do not lean on your own understanding, reach out to God, pour our your heart before Him, LET HIM FIGHT YOUR BATTLE, and He will direct you, and REWARD YOU in the end!! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES AS GOD LOVES YOU

Soo....This morning I finished reading a bible plan that I started on Monday titled "Unexpected" written by Christine Caine. I started it Monday not knowing what was going to happen just the very next day! I knew it meant something, but if I had guessed what it was, it wouldn't of been UNEXPECTED would it, lol! Like I have said in other posts, God doesn't use coincidence, or happenstance! He was preparing me for the blow I received, and WITHSTOOD yesterday! The meeting with the worker went really good, I prayed that God help my children get through without any negative feelings or side affects, not knowing exactly what they would have to go through! God answered my prayers, and I talked to the kids as we ate dinner about forgiving my step mother, I explained to them the power of forgiveness, and how it is more for them than the other person! This is a type of fight I thought I would NEVER find myself in, but the great and MOST COMFORTING fact is that I am not fighting alone! God is with me every step of the way! I am confident that every force that works against me in secret, every plan to break me will unravel! We are to stand strong, and not compromise our faith or trust in God, no matter what the situation is, no matter how hurtful the attack! AND FORGIVE AS GOD HAS FORGIVEN US!! Sometimes that angry feeling wells up, even AFTER you have declared that you have forgiven, but that is just a truck of the devil! The devil wants you to react in a negative way, he wants you to have feeling of vengeance, and hate! DO NOT GIVE IN! THERE IS NOTHING TO HARD FOR GOD, POWER BELONGS TO GOD! Do not allow the weight of the circumstances swallow you up, do not allow hurt feelings to twist your thoughts! God will never leave us nor forsake us, HIS WORD IS TRUE! God is able to do just what He says He'll do! It can be VERY hard sometimes, but those are the times when God wants us to REACH OUT TO HIM! Rely on the power that He gives us, and not on or on thoughts! Psalms 37:3 says "Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be  confident!" Even though you might find yourself surrounded by people who conspire against you, who throw darts at you. If you are talked about in the worst light behind your back, if you have your name dragged through the dirt, if have your past thrown in your face, stand confident! Reach out to God, He will give you all the strength you need to get through! I have to ask myself WWJD (what would Jesus do!), and act accordingly, Jesus, on the way to calvary, was spit on, beaten, cursed out, nailed to a cross, stabbed in both sides!! AND NOTHING IS MORE TERRIBLE THAN THAT! If Jesus can go through all of that, and STILL LOVE, than there is NOTHING anyone can TRY to do to me that would make REACT in a way that is not like God! God wants us to forgive, the moment we realize what is going on!! He wants us to CONTINUOUSLY LOVE OUR ENEMIES!!...and He will give you the strength to do so! REMEMBER THERE IS NOTHING TO HARD FOR GOD! Things might get a lot harder, before they get better, but there is one thing I know, I HAVE THE VICTORY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS! AND NOTHING CAN STAND AGAINST GOD! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVERY IMAGINE!!!

GOD WILL RESTORE YOU IN THE FACE OF YOUR ENEMIES

Soooo.......TODAY IS A REAL ONE!! LOL!! I have said in previous posts that the devil will AMP UP his ATTACKS the closer we get to our MIRACLE! I MUST BE CLOSE because I just received a call from DCF! (DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES!) My step mother went down there yesterday and FALSELY reported me to them! TALK ABOUT MEAN AND VINDICTIVE! They are coming to do an interview with me today at 2:30 pm, BUT I AM NOT AFRAID! You see, for the past couple of days, while reading the word and watching a couple of my favorite ministers, God gave me a word! They were saying that things will get WORSE before they get BETTER!! So I had a feeling that I was going to be in the fight of my life! BUT WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW IS THAT I AM NOT FIGHTING ALONE!! THEY DON'T KNOW THAT I ALREADY HAVE THE VICTORY! THEY DON'T KNOW WHO IS IN CONTROL, THEY DON'T KNOW WHO IS ADVOCATING FOR ME!! One of the ministers even talked about forces CONSPIRING BEHIND MY BACK! I didn't want to read in to that too much, because I didn't want to seem paranoid, but God led me to hear that in preparation for this day! GOD DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES, and if we seek Him EVERYDAY, He will WARN US of what is to come! I am standing FIRM on Gods word and His promises to me! He has already vindicated me! He has already fought and won this battle for me! Gods light will shine through me when I talk to this social worker! He will feel God flowing through me! I thank God for this test! I thank God for stretching and growing my faith in Him!!!! "Thou preparest a table before me in the PRESENCE of my enemies!!" That is what God is going to do before the end of this week! I asked God to use me as a vessel, to show His great power! Now when we ask this of Him, it doesn't mean, oh, He is just going to swoop down and throw all these MATERIAL things at us in front of the ones who wish ill things against us! It means, He will BLESS US through ANY situation they TRY to bring on us! God will make sure that whatever our enemies try to do AGAINST us will not prosper, and then BRING US OUT in a BIG way!! Then they will have NO OTHER CHOICE but to recognize that it was only God who could have done that!! GOD WILL GET ALL THE GLORY, ALL THE HONOR, AND ALL THE PRAISE out of this situation! Even in the face of the people who bear false witness against you, God will LIFT YOU UP! That is His goal right now in my life! I FORGIVE HER, AND I LOVE HER, AND I STILL PRAY FOR HER! I don't want anyone to have to live with that kind of MALICE in their hearts!! I LIVED LIKE THAT ONCE! FULL  OF VENGEANCE, ANGER, HATE, UNFORGIVENESS! Once God set me free, I was lighter that a feather! It is a weight, it was TERRIBLE!! MY MIRACLE IS HERE!! I will not faint, I will not turn to anger or vengeance, I will not have any malice in my heart towards her, PRAYER IS WHAT SHE NEEDS!.....and I will continue to do so! My next post will be a GREAT TESTIMONY!!! For everyone who is reading, please pray for my step mother, pray that God removes her heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh! I love you! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!! TRUST AND LEAN ON HIM, HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!!

THE TOOLS WE NEED, ARE IN THE WORD OF GOD

Soooo....I thank God for another day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, and I WILL REJOICE and be glad in it! I have finished the book of Proverbs in my study bible, and what a ride it was! I kind of PLOWED my way through it with excitement, wanting to learn as much as possible, and God exposed a few things that were apart of my character before He changed me! Proverbs talks a lot about lying, bearing false witness (talking about people), being lazy and wanting at the same time (work ethic), and pride! All of things were apart of me, until God renewed and restored me!.....but there were things that I missed or didn't understand, like Proverbs also talks about money management, planning ahead, and using time wisely! Needless to say, I will read this whole book all over again, so God can teach me more, I want to learn and understand ALL that this book has to offer!! The things that have stood out to me, as far the tools I need to live this Christian life, (Don't get me wrong, ALL OF IT IS VITAL, but a few just stood out for me PERSONALLY, because that's what having a relationship with God is, PERSONAL!), was seeking wise counsel, and fearing God! I got a real understanding about what these two things are, and it really stuck on me! I USED TO BE a person who thought I could do everything on my own! I didn't respect or listen to anything anyone had to say to me, I relied HEAVILY on my own thoughts, I was full of pride, I thought my own way was the RIGHT way, and I thought I was the smartest person in the room at ALL TIMES! Like my thoughts and ideas were SUPERIOR to others!! ISN'T THAT CRAZY! It says in Proverbs 12:15 "The fool is right in his own eyes, but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise," and Proverbs 3:7 says "Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil!" I realized while reading this book how much of a FOOL I was!!! GOODNESS GRACIOUS! I was one of the BIGGEST FOOLS out there!! I don't EVER want to be foolish like that again!!! That is just one of the MANY things reading the word of God does for our lives, not only does reading the word strengthen us, gives us courage, impart Gods love and kindness on us, and tells us the promises God gave to us, it doesn't only tell us what to do and what not to do. Reading the word of God also can remind us of what we were, and how to refrain from that way of living, but in a LOVING WAY! I didn't feel shame or guilt, I didn't feel sad about what is NO LONGER APART OF ME! I just felt enlightened, I felt God was telling me to be wise, to continue to seek Him and His knowledge and understanding of the word! God lovingly reminded me of what not to be, along with what I need to do to make sure I don't return to that OLD ME!! GOD I LOVE YOU!!!!! God will always give us what we need, the Christian life might seem like a lifestyle full of YOU CAN'T DO THIS, AND YOU CAN'T DO THAT OR YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!......but it is really a life full of FREEDOM, LOVE, JOY, PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, HAPPINESS, STRENGTH, COURAGE, FORGIVENESS!! God gives us ALL THE TOOLS we need to live this life! He wouldn't ask us to do this, and then leave us to our own devises!!! HE IS NOT CRUEL! We need the word of God to survive PERIOD!! It's all in there, all we have to do is CONTINUALLY SEEK GOD, EVERYDAY!!!!!! God will honor you, bless you, and keep you ALWAYS!!!! READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ THE WORD OF GOD TODAY!!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

WWJD?? (WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?)

Soooo.....this morning, during my time with God, I read a few more chapters in Proverbs, I am up to chapter 26. As I stated in a previous post, Proverbs is basically the "Do's and Don'ts" book of the bible, and explains the difference between a WISE MAN and a FOOL! But, that is not where my word comes from this morning! As I walked into the kitchen after my sister left for work, I noticed that cooked a whole can of corn beef hash, and left the can, dirty pan, plate, spoon, and spatula on the stove and counter! Now, the old me would have went to 0-100 REAL QUICK, and a little of that kind of stirred up, I may have gone from 0 to about 20, lol! I said to myself "This is not right, and I'm not cleaning up after a GROWN women, especially one who has a negative opinion about everyone else's life, and what they do or don't do!" I even asked God, I said "THIS AIN'T RIGHT, IS IT GOD!?" Asking God as if He was going to validate my feelings, and say, NAH IT ISN'T AND DON'T CLEAN IT UP! NOPE! The second the question came out of my mouth, God IMMEDIATELY changed my train of thought! You see, if you allow yourself to be led by the spirit, FLESH HAS NO DOMINION! You won't think the same, you will not react to or handle a situation the same, the Holy Spirit inside of you will IMMEDIATELY take over, telling you the right way to respond, it is just up to us to listen to that small voice! I immediately thought, no, I just need to do what needs to be done. I reminded myself about humility, and how it doesn't mean to be HUMILIATED, or TREATED IN AN UNFAIR WAY! Humility means to serve, no matter the circumstances! I had to look at this situation, not from a flesh standpoint, thinking I'M NOT THE HOUSE SLAVE, I AM NOT HERE TO CLEAN UP AFTER GROWN PEOPLE!......but from Gods point of view, how can I help, I need to clean up because it needs to be done to keep things clean, and what in my sister is making her be so unclean and lazy! Now THAT IS NO SHADE against my sister, I love her DEARLY, but there are other forces at work here! You see, God will expose things to you in certain ways, we just have to have our eyes open enough to see them! I am supposed realize what is going on with her, TO PRAY FOR HER, and ask God to heal whatever she is going through mentally and emotionally! Depression, unhappy thoughts, resentment, emotional pain, all of those cause a person to not have the mind to clean up, keep there rooms or even themsleves clean and tidy, chaos in their surroundings are a mirror to the chaos going on in their soul!Whatever is going on in the inside will echo outwardly!  Proverbs 27:19 says "As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man."  Humility is not for us, IT IS FOR OTHERS! We as Christians are suppose to be in constant service, AS JESUS WAS WHEN HE WAS HERE ON EARTH! I asked myself, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? I answered myself saying, He would clean the pan, the dish, the spatula, the plate, and discard the can, and then be in prayer for her! He wouldn't think she was taking advantage of Him, Jesus wouldn't of gotten angry, ranting and raving out loud, He would of reacted out of love! Reacting in the flesh, fussing and getting angry would of done much damage to my soul! I believe that when we react that way, in anger and frustration, it twists us on the inside! It creates a war in us, it makes us uneasy, vengeful, which leads DIRECTLY to sin! Then, after the sin, the worst, SHAME AND GUILT sets in!! So whatever we face, no matter what it is, ask yourself this question before reacting, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO! Sometimes you might think the answer will humiliate you, but think HUMILITY and not humiliation! Sometimes, because we are human, the answer might make us think, oh he or she is playing me, they can't get away with this or that, but that is not the point! No one ever gets away with doing wrong to another person, but that is between that person AND GOD! NOT US! LET GOD HANDLE THAT! If we are put in a position to serve, no matter what the circumstances, than we should serve, because that is exactly what Jesus would do! And if God brings to your attention what may be going on with the person or persons, than we are to pray for them!! We have to think MORE about others than ourselves as Christians!! THAT IS WHAT JESUS WOULD DO!!! God bless you, I love you to LIFE!!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!! OH.....AND READ READ READ READ READ THE WORD OF GOD!!! I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT!!!

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Sooooo.....today I started a new bible plan after reading a few chapters in Proverbs. The plan is called "Powered by Scripture." The one thing that stood out, and what I thanked God for, was this relationship that we have! I have never been more fulfilled, happy, and full of joy and surety! I have never been more confident, and humble! To say that God has filled up all of my empty, broken places is an UNDERSTATEMENT! On top of that he is rebuilding my character, strengthening and reinforcing my faith! God is answering all of my prayers, He speaks to me daily, He always makes sure I know that He is there! It is the most healthy and loving relationship I have EVER BEEN IN! This relationship is built on love and kindness, forgiveness, grace and mercy! THERE IS NO OTHER RELATIONSHIP THAT CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO COMPARING TO THIS! Not even the one I have with my children! The love I have for God is more than I have for anyone or anything in this whole world and universe, EVEN MORE THAT I HAVE FOR MY CHILDREN OR MYSELF! Now, to a regular person (a person that doesn't have a relationship with God, or read His word, YET), having more love for someone else over yourself or you children might seem unhealthy or unsettling, but think about this, you cannot TRULY and love yourself or your children without true love for God! God is love, you have to love God FIRST, to be able to love yourself and anyone else the way your suppose to love them! We must learn love from God first! Building and nurturing a relationship with God will  make you successful in all areas in your life! I'm not saying everything will be perfect all the time, but you will have the tools to get through the times when things aren't perfect! You will have the confidence to stand against adversity! When you have a relationship with God, you have planted your feet on a solid foundation! So that when the trials of life come your way, you will not blow over, you will not fall or suffer major damage! A relationship with God, being in His will, is the safest place we can EVER be! A relationship with God takes work, it is give and take! It definitely isn't a, ask God for everything, and He just GIVES it to us! We have to be obedient, humble, and above all, love others as we love Him and ourselves! When you find yourself in a dark place, God will be you light! God is your lawyer in the courtroom, He is your doctor, He is a father when your fatherless, a mother when your motherless, He is your friend and your guide, He is trustworthy, loving and FAITHFUL! Who wouldn't want to be in a relationship like that! I cling onto God EVERYDAY! I know that I can't make it without Him, and I don't want to EVER TRY, EVER AGAIN! My desire is to seek His face EVERYDAY! I hunger and thirst after His word, in it I find comfort, and I believe in everything He says! I DON'T KNOW ANY HUMAN PERSON I CAN SAY ALL THOSE THINGS ABOUT! LOL!!! Having a relationship with God gives me all the hope I need for the future, I know that ALL things will work out for my good, according to Gods plans for my life!  Give your life over to God today, repent of all your sins, name them one by one, ask God to save you, and wash you clean! HE WILL DELIVER YOU, AND SET YOU FREE! THEN HE WILL REPAIR YOU, AND MAKE YOU BETTER THAN YOU HAVE EVER BEEN! I know this first hand, I feel His changing power EVERYDAY!! OH...AND READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ THE WORD OF GOD!!! PLEEEAAAAASSSEEEE!!!! I love you to LIFE! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

PROVERBS (SEEKING WISDOM)

Sooooo......This morning I read in proverbs the contrast between EVIL and GOODNESS....but let me tell you something that I realized. These first 13 chapters are split up into 2 sections, the first 7 chapters talk contrast RIGHTEOUSNESS and WICKEDNESS, and chapters 14-20 contrast EVIL and GOODNESS, but all the verses speak on the same subject matter! All the verses in these chapters talk about the lying tongue being an abomination, being a prideful and haughty person leading to destruction, watching what what you say before you say it, seeking wisdom instead of riches, listening to good counsel, fearing the Lord, and helping the less fortunate! Over and over and over these subject matters come up, just worded differently, sometimes worded exactly alike!! It goes back to what I said in an old post, how teacher impart what they want their students to learn, they have give them the same information SEVERAL times to make sure they retain the information! THAT IS WHAT GOD DOES! He doesn't expect us to just read or hear it once and POOF, that's it, all fixed, ALL DONE! Becoming more like Christ requires that we read His instructions and commandments OVER AND OVER AND OVER, to insure that we retain the information God (our teacher) wants us to know! Every story in the bible are examples of what happens when you do, or don't do what God has commanded! God wants us to be successful, He gives us all the tools we need to be so! IN HIS WORD!! THE WORD, THE WORD, THE WORD!! He gives us CLEAR and PRECISE information that will help us to make the right decisions during our day to day life!! Fearing God insures that we live a full, and successful life!! Now, fearing God isn't a negative thing! God doesn't want to make us do the right thing through intimidation and threats! Fearing God means to head His word, doing the right thing, making the right decisions, because we know if we don't it will lead to our destruction! Destruction brought on by our OWN doing, becoming a slave to sin again! Living again in the bondage that God already freed us from! I RATHER FEAR GOD THAN LIVE IN THAT KIND OF BONDAGE EVER AGAIN! God wants us to seek Him DAILY, He will not let you fall, or stumble if we are intentional in seeking His wisdom everyday! In the will of God is the safest place we ever be in our lives! Walking in His will means obeying His commandments, it means denying ourselves, and if I have to deny myself of COCAINE, ALCOHOL, WEED, LUST, FORNICATION, CURSING, AND PRIDE, A LYING TONGUE, THIEVERY, CERTAIN MOVIES AND WORLDLY MUSIC, NEGATIVE PEOPLE AROUND ME, AND MY FIRST CLASS TICKET TO HELL, to live a blessed life full of happiness, joy, peace, freedom from death and sin, the promise of eternal life in heaven, everything I need and want according to Gods plan, THAN DENY MYSELF AND FEAR GOD I SHALL!!! When spelled all out like that, the choice seems easy, but the flesh can be a strong thing, it calls to us EVERYDAY! That is why I cling to the word of God, that is why I say in almost every post READ READ READ READ READ READ the word of God, apply it to your life, be obedient to His commandments, and watch how God blesses you, with things you couldn't even think about asking for, AND MORE!! I love you to LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!
