CONFIDENCE in your CALLING!

SOOOO! It feels really really good to be writing this morning! I haven't in a long while. I have always seen myself as a VERY confident person, in social settings, expressing myself, standing up for myself and others, not being afraid of too many things, people or situations! All of that is good, but only to a certain extent! I have ALWAYS been confident in the FLESH, but quite the OPPOSITE when it comes to walking in the spirit, in the calling that God has put on my life! I have allowed my own doubts, and the judgement of others have an adverse effect on me and what I think about myself spiritually! God has called me to be an evangelist,  PERIOD! I have been given this word on SEVERAL occasions in my life! I would accept the word, feel really good about it, thanking God for the assignment, and within a couple of days COMPLETELY DOUBTING THE CALL! I start thinking about what others will think if I told them, and not regular people, but FAMILY! Others outside of my family see it, and are encouraging, but the ones closest to me (with the exception of my children), NOT SO MUCH! I worry more about what is said behind my back, than focusing on what GOD has said. I spend time imagining how I am going to SHOW THEM, instead of diving even harder into the Word of God! I let anger creep in, instead of listening to the Holy Spirit! I was constantly thinking about arguing with the person who's words create the doubt, instead of putting the ENEMY (the DEVIL) and his lies INTO SUBMISSION! Forgetting about the power God has given me (us) to fight the devil spiritually! The bible says that our fight is not in the flesh, we cannot fight, argue, or GET BACK at people to solve problems, but only with prayer and affirmations can we regain and have confidence in the spirit! It is a SPIRITUAL WARFARE! It's not the person (flesh), it's the opposing spirit using them to distract you, to throw you off, to get you to doubt yourself and who GOD says you are! NEVER allow the opinions and grumblings of others take the wind out of your sail! Stay routed and grounded in Gods word. If You know what the calling is on your life, ask God to give you the strength, and CONFIDENCE to walk boldly in that calling! Write a list of affirmations, yours may vary because God has called each of us to different things, but the ones that pertain to us all are "I AM REDEEMED!", "I AM WORTHY!", "I AM DELIVERED!", "I AM FREE!", "I AM LOVED BY GOD!", "I AM CALLED!" Pray without ceasing, and stay in the word!! I love you, but PLEASE know that GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!! PUT ALL YOUR TRUST AND HOPE IN HIM!

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5

Is This The End

Sooo........Its been a long while since I have written anything! Praise be to God, I am still walking this path God has set out for me, I am Holy Ghost filled, baptized in Jesus name! STILL FREE, STILL DELIVERED,  STILL HERE! By ONLY the GRACE AND MERCY OF GOD! In light of what's going on in the world now I have been talking to God about these being the end times,  and how fear is being perpetuated on every outlet be it news, newspaper, social media, internet, the government itself! This Corona virus has everyone in a fearful frenzy,  things like toilet paper, water, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, and other things we took for granted have disappeared from shelves! FEAR! Doesn't it say in Gods word that He hasn't given us the spirit of fear! But power love AND A SOUND MIND! Our faith and trust in God is really what is needed, and what will keep us in these last and evil days! God is the ruler of all things, and as long as we are connected, as long as we are saved and walking in obedience,  as long as we are covering ourselves and others in PRAYER, NO PLAGUE, FAMINE, or anything else shall come to our doorstep! REMEMBER! The God we serve is more powerful than ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! The devil and all of his tricks, BUT ESPECIALLY ANYTHING MAN MADE! Guard your spirit everyday with prayer and reading the word of God! GOD IS LOOKING FOR YOUR YES NOW MORE THAN EVER! This is not the time to play church, play saved, play at being a Christian! God is looking for soldiers, that will hold up the standard, that will speak the TRUE word, to tell others and draw them to God! I have heard ever since I was a little girl that "This is the end of days!" 1992, and again in 1999 before Y2K, then again during the 9/11 period of RAMPANT FEAR! But this is TRULY the beginning of the end of days, and it is time to make a decision, REPENT AND TURN YOUR LIFE OVER TO GOD, and choose protection, AND LIFE! OR continue a life of sin and choose hard times,  FEAR, and all the hell that is to come, AND DEATH!! NOW IS THE TIME! GOD IS LOOKING FOR YOUR YES, TO HIS WILL AND TOO HIS WAY! Don't choose to have your riches here on earth, don't allow the world to fool you into thinking LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE! LIVE THE LIFE GOD WANTS YOU TO HAVE! SURRENDER TO HIS WAY! That is THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL MAKE IT THROUGH WHAT'S TO COME! Pray the sinners prayer "FATHER GOD, COME INTO MY LIFE AND SAVE ME FROM MYSELF, FORGIVE ME OF ALL MY SINS! I SURRENDER MY ALL TO YOU GOD RIGHT NOW! LEAD ME AND GUIDE ME, REBUILD ME INTO THE PERSON YOU WANT ME TO BE! RESTORE ME GOD, RENEW IN ME THE RIGHT SPIRIT! PROTECT AND KEEP ME GOD! I AM NOTHING WITHOUT YOU LORD! AND I CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT YOUR GUIDANCE! I LOVE YOU GOD, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!" I hope and pray those who are not saved prayed that prayer, you have already tried the drink, drugs, sex, stealing, lying, cussing, you have already struggled through depression, anxiety, anger and hate! You have been through hell and back, give God a try, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE and EVERYTHING TO GAIN!! God will give you peace and JOY UNSPEAKABLE! I LOVE YOU.....BUT GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!!! GOD BLESS!!

Reflect God

Soooo.......God really exposed something to me this morning! God has been really dealing with me about my patience, and being quick to anger or frustration! I have had opportunities to really put Gods word into action, but CHOSE to do the contrary, HANDLE IT MY WAY! My laundry days are scheduled for Monday and Thursday, but the past couple of times I found myself faced with a woman who comes in,  and puts her laundry during my time, not taking her two days a week, but encroaching on my days! The first time, I made her STOP THE LOADS AND TAKE IT OUT, the second time,  the SAME! THIS time she only stopped one, and I was ANGRRRRRYYY! So angry in fact that I cussed a couple times when talking about the situation with the maintenance man! I was thinking "DON'T LET THIS KINDNESS FOOL YOU" totally FEELING like she was taking it for a weakness. Like she thought she could continually pull this stunt because she feels I won't come at her! I asked God to forgive me for my language, for allowing myself to step out of character! Then this morning, I read about one of the most important fruits of the spirit, PATIENCE! The saying is "PATIENCE IS A VIRTURE", and it TRULY IS! What I read about patience, my actions didn't reflect AT ALL! Patience is being calm in stressful situations, SHOWING EMPATHY TO OTHERS WHEN THEY ARE NOT DOING THINGS TO OUR STANDARDS, and here is the kicker, I LOVE HOW GOD SPEAKS DIRECTLY TO ME! It went on to say, "Patience is NOT GETTING DISGRUNTLED WHEN A DELAY OCCURS THAT WON'T MATTER 10 YEARS FROM NOW, NEVER MIND TEN DAYS FROM NOW!" THERE IF WAS! I was totally CONVICTED! I failed to show grace and mercy in those situations,  I failed to show empathy, I failed to allow Gods light to shine through me! If I really thought about it, instead of me counting how many children she has (1) comparing to my own (3), I would of said, well it won't take long for her to get done, because it really didn't matter! I allowed my EMOTIONS to dictate my actions! Me being a child of God, He holds me accountable in situations like that, I was supposed to be more like Him,  and not like the world, I was supposed to extend the same grace He extends to me ON A DAILY BASIS! I can't imagine God going "WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS, DON'T TAKE MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS", and then PUNISHING ME! WHAT IF!....but He doesn't,  because of His INFINITE PATIENCE! If God treated me like I treated her when I mess up, I WOULD BE DEAD! PERIOD! Lost in sin, and DAMNED TO HELL! So I really had to take a look at myself, we have to handle people just like how God handles us, I learned today that walking this Christian walk ABSOLUTELY means people who are not saved sometimes taking advantage of your kind nature, DON'T WE DO IT TO GOD. Everytime we slip, HE CATCHES US, forgives us, without condemnation! God is holding us at a higher standard, we can endure EVERYTHING this world and people throw at us, with His strength that He gives us!! To be like Christ means to love unconditionally, to forgive and forget, to give of yourself to people, to be a witness, to be a light. It also means that we will be taken advantage of, looked at funny, talked about! Jesus endured WORST, and He will gives us what we need to endure!! Lesson, apply the word in your life, handle yourself according to how God says we should when situations arise, and we will grow! You never know what God has planned for those situations, walk in obedience FULLY, not pick and choose what to be obedient to! The thing that makes you the most uncomfortable is God stretching you! Trust in His process!! Lean not unto your own understanding, lean on Gods! I LOVE YOU TO LIFE!! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!

The Weight of Sin

Soooo......I am pretty sure that most if not everyone has heard the expression, "The weight of sin" right? I was sitting and thinking one day about what that ACTUALLY meant. The lightness you feel after giving your life over to God is LIFE CHANGING,  and UNDENIABLE! That feeling of COMPLETE FREEDOM is the feeling of not having the chains of sin, not being bound by mistakes, drug use, cursing, drinking, lying,  stealing, lust, fornication, anger, and hate! I was thinking about me in particular, how I used to indulge in cocaine, marijuana, drinking, fornication, you name it. I had become a SLAVE to what I was doing. The process of calling drug dealers, waiting for a reply, leaving my children to go cop, not having enough money, coming down and getting depressed, the mind altering effects it was causing, mood swings, anxiety, guilt, shame, hopelessness, anger, resentment, pride, FALSE SINCE OF HAPPINESS,  blacking out, wasting money, not having what my kids needed money wise, selling food stamps for gas, ETC! That is why I felt LIGHT AS A FEATHER when I surrendered! GOD LIFTED ALL OF THAT FILTH AND MORE FROM ME, HE TOOK IT AND REPLACED IT WITH HIS LOVE! I gave God my broken places and in return He fixed it! I gave Him my anger and resentment, guilt and shame, and in return He gave me peace and joy! I gave God my pride, and in return He gave me humility! I gave Him my rebellion, and He gave me obedience! God is rebuilding me piece by piece, repairing my moral center. That's why it says in the bible that we are "New creatures". I am LITERALLY not the same person I used to be! I am so happy not to be bound by substances and living a life of moral sin!  BLISSFUL IGNORANCE, is what I am living in now! Not knowing what God has for me, or what He is doing or about to do,  but trusting that whatever it is it's for my good! Following Gods leadership blindly, having faith that in His plans I will be restored, I will prosper, and NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER! Knowing that God has already given me the victory makes walking into the battles of life a BREEZE! God is UNDEFEATED! HIS WORD IS TRUE! Make that decision today, SURRENDER IT ALL TO HIM! Tell God what your tired of, tell Him that your tired of living they way you are, be SPECIFIC! Don't give Him a few things,  or just a piece! GIVE HIM ALL THE BROKEN PIECES, AND WATCH HIM RESTORE YOU! I PROMISE YOU, IT IS THE BEST DECISION YOU CAN EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFE! If you have tried everything else, TRY GOD! You have NOTHING TO LOSE, but EVERYTHING TO GAIN!! I love you to life! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER EVER EVER EVER IMAGINE!! HE WANTS TO FIX YOU, LET HIM! ❤❤❤

Worship GOD, not the PROMISE!

Sooooo.......WORSHIP GOD NOT THE PROMISE is a phrase that really stuck in my spirit this morning. I read this line in a devotional this morning,  and I knew immediately that I wanted to write on this topic. I think this is VERY important if you are waiting on a promise to be fulfilled. Focusing on the promise (something that you asked for that your waiting to GET), and not the one who promised (GOD) can be dangerous. It literally means you have taken your eyes off of the prize, slowly disconnecting yourself from glory itself,  and are now focused on GETTING! The danger comes when, because your focus has changed, it doesn't come fast enough or in a time frame you THINK you need it in! Frustration sets in, doubt sets in, FEAR sets in, disappointment will DEFINITELY bust in, anger will show up, and LOSS OF FAITH will be the end result, and without faith it is impossible to please God!  SO, FOCUS ON GLORY, if your focus is on God, and you allow Him to prepare you for what is to come, you won't have time for FEAR, FRUSTRATION, ANGST, WORRY, ANGER, DISAPPOINTMENT, and there won't be any DISCONNECTION or LOSS OF FAITH! The time will go by if you spend it in your word, in prayer, and praising the one who promised! Remember that God is faithful, and His word is ALIVE and TRUE! Gods word will not return to Him void, meaning, whatever He says and promised, IT WILL BE FULFILLED!! TRUST GOD AND HIS PROCESS! You don't want to walk into you promise unprepared, allow God to mold you, to teach you, and to mature you! I love you to life! GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!!! READ READ READ THE BIBLE TODAY! MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU!

GOD DID IT!

Sooooo.....I have recently shared my blog with my mother. She is the very first family member that I have shared this with,  and I was a little nervous.  I was very excited, and still am, about what God had given me to write, I was truly blessed with that word! (See previous post). She read it and was blessed, then she said, it didn't sound like my daughter, it was like someone else wrote it! Lol! Then she asked if I had copied it! I just chuckled and texted back, I wrote it, but God gave it to me! First of all, I want to marvel at the fact that I didn't get offended by the question of did I actually write it, that didn't even cross my mind, because that's how DEFENSIVE I used to be! The instant response of GOD GAVE IT TO ME, is a sign, and a testament of the change and work God is doing in me! Let me paint a picture, I used to be a COCKY, PRIDEFUL, OVERCONFIDENT, and HAUGHTY type of person (I wrote about this is an earlier post called "Strengths Can be your Weakness"). Gods changing power is undeniable, if you allow Him to change you. If you are willing to take the strength and love He gives you, face your deficiencies, face your attitude, face your anger, or whatever your hang up is. Speak it out loud, confess it, SURRENDER IT ALL TO HIM, READ THE WORD OF GOD and deal with it according to His heavenly instructions, and you will see and feel the change! You won't respond to things and situations like you used to, you won't think, speak, or react like you used to! There will be no room for anger, or defensive behavior! There will be no room for pride, cockiness, self exalting! All you will be able to say is GOD DID IT! The ability to take credit for ANYTHING will diminish greatly! You will know that all things come from God, all gifts, and blessings! I have come to the realization that I AM NOTHING WITHOUT GOD, AND I CAN AND WON'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT HIM!! All the praise, honor and glory belongs to our God! Give God the credit He deserves in your life! WITHOUT HIM I AM NOTHING! NONE OF ME GOD AND ALL OF YOU! IN JESUS NAME!!! I love you to life, GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

LET GOD DO IT!

SOOOOO.......HAPPY BLESSED NEW YEAR!!! I hope and pray you all walked into 2020 with the posture of victory, and overwhelming faith! This morning's word was so powerful, and I am sooo excited to write! I usually put the bible verse at the end, but this is too great, I want this to set the tone for our year! This is the year God will restore what we have lost, this is the year of fulfillment! This is the year God will do exceedingly, MORE THAN WE CAN EVER THINK TO ASK! "Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the WILDERNESS, and rivers in the desert!" ISAIAH 43:19.....Now, GOD SAID THAT, so, LET GOD DO IT! Do you believe Gods word is true, I wrote a lot last year about Gods word being true, about how VERY IMPORTANT reading the word everyday is, about GOD BEING FAITHFUL! GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE! GOD CANNOT AND WILL NOT TELL A LIE! SO LET GOD DO IT! What REALLY hit me this morning was the definition of WILDERNESS, it is an unexplored terrain that has no identifiable  pathway! WHAT! That is LITERALLY what having faith in God is. Trusting in His plan even if we cannot see the way, even when we don't know what direction to go in, even when we don't have a CLUE what is about to happen! ...but trusting that God is POWERFUL AND LOVING enough to make a way, blindly following the path he has set! FAITH! SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD OVER YOUR LIFE AND SITUATION! Trust that He can make a way LITERALLY OUT OF NO WAY!!! You got to believe His word is true, remain faithful, obedient, love others, speak what is not as if it was so! Trust that God is in control, LET GOD DO IT! Give Him praise when He opens doors, PRAISE HIM EVEN MORE WHEN ONE CLOSES! Give God your all, and He will give you His BEST! SURRENDER......and LET GOD DO IT!!
